| Mayo Splash and Dash | 11.00am | Westport Leisure Park | 4th/5th/6th Class pupils of Mayo Primary Schools | All schools in the area invited to submit teams of 4 to participate in a fun event which will include swimming and running. The event will be in a relay format incorporating use of the Westport Leisure Park and the town. The event will commence with a 200m swim in Westport Leisure Park, followed by a 2k run onto an Obstacle course before the finish. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 schools. Every finisher will receive a Medal and T-shirt. |

The Adventure Islands are providing Sit on Top Canoes & Stand Up Paddle Boarding on the Mall, Archery and the latest craze - Combat Games - no pain, no splatters, just pure adrenaline (Westport House). Check out how to sail in their new pico boats at the Quay! In order to enjoy any of these activites we recommend booking a group of 10 or two teams of 5.

| Westport Festival of Sport Fun Day in association with Westport United | 1.00pm – 5.00pm | The Mall | Families / Individuals etc | The event, co-ordinated by the Mayo Sports Partnership, is full of fun activities such as the family sports challenge (incorporating 12 different sports), water sports, traditional games, bouncy castle / fun inflatables, walking challenges, street orienteering, inclusive games, 5K Fun Run / Walk etc. An extra attraction this year will be Westport United’s activity zone to celebrate their centenary year. |
